Waterways Litterpick

Saturday 7th June

13:00-15:00

Pound Mill Sculpture on Wraysbury Road

The first weekend of the festival will coincide with a yearly event from the Waterway Pickers Staines (part of Spelthorne Litter Pickers). Their volunteers will be working along the Wraysbury River to remove litter and contribute to a cleaner environment. Both groups are dedicated to combating plastic pollution and environmental neglect in their communities. Their mission focuses on fostering community engagement and inspiring people to reconnect with nature while turning a negative situation into a positive outcome. We encourage you to stop by and chat with the volunteers, learn more about the initiative and witness the accumulation of rubbish that volunteers are working to clear.

Please note  If you are interested in actively participating in the litter picking you should contact Daniel Hennessey by email: waterwaypickers@proton.me
