Drop into Talking Tree to meet the Sewcial group and find out how they are working to reduce clothes waste, whilst also having a great time. The group is led by skilled volunteers who teach people how to repair and adapt the clothes they already have, rather than buying new. You will also have chance to see the Community Patchwork, created from waste fabric in the lead up to the THRIVE Festival.

The Sewcial Group meets on Saturday mornings once a month. People are welcome to call in to get some help repairing or adjusting an item of clothing. A number of group members attend regularly to learn new skills sewing by hand or using a sewing machine.
