From Below is part of a broader research project, funded by the Arts & Humanities Research Council. The film focuses on specific towns and cities across England and speaks to how community action can be supported in order to help people in future crises, both of the climate and of the economy. The film arose from research led by Dr Oli Mould from Royal Holloway.
